Information we collect

We collect information about you, which you provide to us through our offices, websites, kiosks and written communications to us.

In addition to the personal and financial information you submit (or we collect), we may collect information about your computing including, where available, your IP address, and operating system and browser type.

We may also record and/or monitor calls for quality checks and staff training.

Information we hold

We will hold personal information about you including but not limited to: name, address, phone numbers, email address, date of birth, employment, citizenship, marital status, banking and financial details.

We will also hold information about you from when you contact us and when we contact you.

Any other information which we reasonably need to conduct business with us or fulfil our regulatory obligations will also be held by us.

How we use information about you

We will use your personal information to take steps to enter into a contract with you and/or to perform the contract we have with you pursuant to article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation. We will use your information to maintain your business or financial relationship with us, to also help identify, develop or improve products that may be of interest to you. • With any mortgage intermediary system we may use;
• With any payment system we may use;

With regulatory and governmental authorities’ ombudsmen, or other authorities, including tax authorities, including those overseas, where we are requested by them to do so.

Access to your own information

We may charge an administrative fee when a request is manifestly unfounded or repetitive. We may also charge a further administrative fee when you request for us to provide further copies of the information already provided to you.

 It is to be noted that you have the right to request access to your personal information in a machine-readable format such as Excel or CSV file if you require.

Rectify inaccurate information

 We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate. We will respond to your request within one month of receiving your request.

Your right to restrict processing

Transfer of information

Your personal information is domiciled on our servers in Jamaica, outside of the UK.  We ensure the information is held securely to standards, at least, as good as those in the UK and only used for the purposes set out in this privacy policy. We will ensure that your personal information which is domiciled outside the UK is protected by entering into a written agreement with the non-UK organisation to obtain a contractual undertaking that your personal information will be held securely.
