Project details

The 19-home development brings forward a mix of detached, semi-detached and mews-style homes. This scheme sets itself apart from the norm by offering homes with generous internal and external plots and finishes done to a high specification.

By the time we became involved, the scheme was already well underway. What remained was the final phase, a critical stage where funding certainty is essential to maintain momentum and carry the development through to completion.

Like many SME developers, Chambers were navigating a market where timing, cost and delivery risk all need to be carefully balanced. There were lots of funding options available to them, but the decision wasn’t as simple as selecting a lender based on headline terms like price and speed.

How VM Finance helped

We provided a seven-figure funding line to support the final phase of the development, helping to ensure continuity on site and a clear route through to delivery.

We’d been speaking to Michael and his team for a long time now, building a strong relationship while getting to know their business, their projects and how they work. The conversations and frequent site visits set us in good standing to provide the kind of support they needed when the time came to sign a contract.

The early engagement gave context. We had seen the site evolve, understood how Chambers operate and recognised the intent behind the development. All of which allowed us to move quickly when the opportunity came, but also to structure funding in a way that reflected the reality of the project, not just a standardised approach.

Providing confidence at a crucial stage

The funding has enabled Chambers Capital to maintain progress on site and move confidently through the final phase of Rosalyn Heights, bringing a distinctive residential scheme to completion in a competitive market.

More importantly, it’s laid the groundwork for an ongoing partnership we’re excited about.

When relationship-led lending is done well, it supports delivery, reduces risk and creates conditions for future growth.

Managing Director

What made the difference was the relationship that had been built over time. VM had took the effort to really understand our business and our project long before funding was required. That builds a level of trust you can’t manufacture at the point of transaction.
